FAQ

What happens on a Sunday?

Our Sunday morning celebration starts at 10.30.  Folk start to arrive from about 10.15.  A greeter will welcome you in the porch and give  you a notice sheet.  You can sit wherever you like in the chapel.  At 10.30  the Duty Steward will welcome everyone, introduce whoever is leading the service that morning and mention any notices.  The service will be led either by our minister or by a visiting preacher with contributions from other church members.  The first part of the service is for all ages and will include songs, prayer and Bible reading.  The songs are a variety of old and new and are led by organ, piano or guitar.  The words of the songs are projected on the screen at the front.  After about fifteen minutes we break for the children to move on to their own activities in the hall.  The rest of the service is an opportunity for the adults to hear the Bible read and explained and to respond to the message with songs, prayer or sharing.  Once a month we share the Lord's Supper together with bread and non-alchoholic wine - all who wish to are welcome to receive.  Services last about an hour and ten minutes.  After the service refreshments are served in the hall.

Our Sunday evenings are at 7pm and are generally quite informal.  The worship is usually led by the Duty Steward and will include singing, prayers, Bible reading and sharing.  The Bible teaching is usually given by our minister or a visiting preacher.  After the service refreshments are served inthe hall
